Broken Axis

Hey! Welcome to my little corner of the internet.

Broken Axis is a blog about Thai politics, focusing on democracy, progressive ideas, and political messaging.

I mainly write to clarify my own thinking. But I hope you find this blog interesting too.

About the name

Thanathorn believes that getting real democracy in Thailand will be a 50 year journey.

I don’t want to wait that long.

In a graph, you can use a broken axis to disrupt the continuity, essentially creating a time jump. In our context, it is a rejection of the 50 year timeline.

Broken Axis represents the hope that achieving democracy doesn’t have to take half a century. This generation deserves a government that works for them too.
